Special features

There are several special features that can be enabled/disabled for the calculator widgets. All changes can be specified in the data-defaults property if done inline or inside the JSON via the url method.

Inline example: add any special feature below like the following data-defaults='{"imputed":"true"}'

Imputed income

Any calculator widget can have optional imputed income fields added to the calculation. Adding "imputed":true will add a button titled Add Other Income to the widget. You can use this button to add imputed income to the calculation.

Summation feature

Any calculator widget can have the optional summation feature enabled/disabled. The summation feature will be available after the results are calculated. You can choose to do a running sum of calculations by clicking the Add to memory button. To enable this feature add "sum":true via the inline or url methods.

Disable printing of reports

You can disable report printing by setting the print report select box to display only the 'none' option. This must be set by us in our admin panel. Please log a ticket in Symmetry's Client Support Center to adjust this setting.

Enable emailing of reports

You can have the calculator widgets email a pdf copy of each report. This must be set by us in our admin panel. Please log a ticket in Symmetry's Client Support Center to enable this setting. We will need a valid email address to where the reports will be sent. This is usually your company's payroll department. In addition, there is an email report yes/no field in the print object that will allow the client to toggle this feature after it is set up in the admin panel.
