This Symmetry Tax Engine CoPilot is a folder you download and open in your AI-powered IDE. Its AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md files tell your assistant how to work on your integration, and the packaged knowledge base, worked examples, and code templates give it the material to do so.

What this CoPilot knows

Its Advisor knowledge base is built on the complete STE API schema as source of truth. It carries validated request and response examples for every endpoint — payCalc, locationCode, locationTax, setTaxList, and the rest. Workflow tutorials cover the full calculation sequence. Engineer templates ship for Python, TypeScript, Java, C#, and Go.

The CoPilot is included with your Symmetry Tax Engine license and appears in the Download Center.
  1. Sign in to the Download Center.
  2. Find the STE Developer AI CoPilot in your available downloads.
  3. Download the latest versioned package — ste-developer-ai-copilot-<version>.zip, for example ste-developer-ai-copilot-2026.7.1.zip — and extract it.
  4. Open the extracted folder in your AI-powered IDE.
