ste_upcoming_tax_changes tool to answer.
Tax Radar shows what Symmetry is tracking, not what an employee will owe. It doesn’t return the new rate or wage base. Once a change is loaded into STE, use
ste_tax_change_feed to see the previous and new values. What you get back
The status doesn’t say the change is built, tested, or released. The effective date is when the law changes, not when Symmetry ships support for it.
To see where a change came from, ask for the source. To check how current an answer is, ask when the data was last synced. Tax Radar data refreshes daily.
Ask by state, place, or tax
Your assistant picks the lookup key from your question.
A tax ID lookup also shows whether the tax is tracked, on file with no tracked change, on file but inactive, or not on file. For an active tax, it adds the rate in force today and any scheduled rate.
Choose how far the search reaches
Narrow the results
Forstate and locationCode lookups, you can filter by updateType (for example, Wage Base) and status (for example, Requirements Confirmed). Each filter takes up to five values, and a change must match both filters to appear.
When nothing is tracked
An empty answer means Tax Radar holds no tracked changes for what you asked. It doesn’t mean nothing is changing. The Tax Radar tool doesn’t cover Forms or Canada. It covers U.S. federal, state, and local taxes only.Limits
- More than 100 matching changes: the answer shows 100 and marks the list as partial. There is no paging.
- More than 1,500 matching changes, more than 10 states, or
rolldownfor more than one state: the request is refused. - A
uTaxIDlookup isexactonly and can’t be filtered.
